SSC CGL Tier-1 2014 Exam Analysis
English
As we informed you earlier, SSC CGL Tier-1 2014 was not easy because the questions were lengthy. In evening set, English questions were also difficult. In Morning shift, Passage was typical. If a candidate has managed to attempt 25 to 30 questions with accuracy, we can say that he has done a good job. Scoring 20 to 25 in English was not difficult.
Quantitative Aptitude
Most of the questions in this section were easy but lengthy. 4-5 Questions were asked from the previous year papers as well. In these questions, even the options were same as well. Most of the candidates are expecting not more than 35 marks in this section.
General Awareness
We have already shared the General Awareness Questions that were asked on 19th october 2014. As usual, these questions were quit tough so you can't expect much from this section. Your attempt would be considered good, if you have managed to attempt 15-20 questions with accuracy. An average candidate can expect 10-15 marks.
Reasoning Section
Reasoning was not that tough. However, candidates complained that some questions were lengthy. Because the questions were easy, it was easy to attempt 38-40 questions. An average student can expect 30-35 marks in this section.

This year, the cut off will not cross 100 marks for sure..

Important Information: Through our sources, we came to know that very less number of students have attempted this exam  due to other exams on the same day like IBPS,SSB etc. According to our report more than 50% students were absent. It can go in the favour of candidates. Bets of Luck!!
